Rachel Tucker: On The Road
Rachel Tucker: On The Road is the second studio album by West End and Broadway star Rachel Tucker. Best known for her multi award winning portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked and the BBC’s musical reality programme I’d Do Anything, Rachel wowed audiences at London’s Crazy Coqs with her sold out one-woman cabaret show as part of Live at Zedel. This led tothe start of a 13 date UK tour beginning in her hometown of Belfast; and then finishing up crossing the pond to Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York. Following her dates at Zedel, Rachel went into the studio to record some of the songs from the show.
Rachel’s co-star in Wicked, Lee Mead, joins her to sing the heartrending You Matter To Me from the new Broadway musical Waitress, written by Sara Bareilles. Lee Mead became a star after winning the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do, the musical reality programme led by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Also joining Rachel for a duet of That's Life, is Olivier Award Winner Rebecca Trehearn, who joined Rachel on the 'On The Road' tour.
Rachel Tucker: On The Road includes the first studio recording of Kait Kerrigan & Brian Lowdermilk’s Hand in Hand, a new big band arrangement of the Oliver! classic Where Is Love? Rachel’s first original song I’m Falling (co-written by Musical Director Kris Rawlinson), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, a poignant and heartfelt nod to Rachel’s time playing the iconic “green girl”, and a completely reimagined studio version of No Good Deed, from Wicked.

A Very West End Christmas
In a project of unprecedented scale, co-producers Darren Bell and Kris Rawlinson brought together almost fifty stars of musical theatre, after two months of planning, to record an album of Christmas songs for charity; ‘A Very West End Christmas’. All proceeds are split between equally between Great Ormond Street Hospital, CRY UK, and The Band Aid Charitable Trust. The impressive line up of almost fifty performers gathered at the St James Theatre on the 14th October to record two of the songs in the main house. The EP also features three studio tracks recorded in the following days with several established West End leading performers.
